Q 1: How many types of sinks are there?
• They are 2 types of sinks:
1. Stainless Steel sinks;
2. Asterite (artificial Granite) Colour sinks.
Q 2: Which is more popular in market?
• Stainless Steel sinks are more popular, as their natural colour is
easily matched with other kitchen appliances.
Q 3: Where is Foster Sink made?
• Foster originates from Italy.
Q 4: What is the grade of your Stainless Steel?
• 18/10 – AISI 304

Q 5: What is the difference between a Moulded sink and
Welded sink?
• Most Foster sinks are moulded.
• Jointless Single pieced Stainless Steel sink is of course better in
terms of quality and durability.
• Welded sink is different in the production process, it is a few
pieces of the sink bowl and body welded together, manually filed
and polished-clearly seen from the under parts of the sink.
Q 6: Is your Stainless Steel surface easily scratched?
• In the market, there is no scratch proof stainless steel, to avoid
scratches, do not use abrasive sponge to clean the surface. OR
• You may consider some of the models like: 1962R, 1579R, 1555R
stainless steel sink which has a scratch resistant surface.
Q 7: Is the Stainless Steel surface easy to clean?
• Yes, as long as the user is willing to clean, both the ordinary
stainless steel plate and the scratch resistant steel plate are very
easy to clean.
• As the name implies, the material itself is “ STAIN ”- LESS, so for
cleaning, we recommend Lagostina stainless steel cleaning
powder. It is a very fine powder that will make your cleaning so
much easier.
• This powder can also be used for cleaning of tiles or any glazed
surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom.
Q 8: Will the stainless steel sink rust?
• No, it will not rust under proper maintenance:
1. Keep the stainless steel sink away from acid or acid-based
solvents (in liquid and vapour form)
2. After installation, wipe clean the stainless steel sink with a
soft damp cloth to remove any traces of dirt (e.g. cement
dust) or perspiration marks.
• Please take note of the above mentioned especially during
renovation period.
Q 9: What is the depth of the sink?
• Normally 7 inches is the standard depth.
• However, our Foster sink come with 8 inches depth, like these
model: 1555 Uragano sink and model: 1579 Tornado sink – Both
sinks come with 5 pieces of useful accessories and accessories
holder.
Q 10: What is the thickness of the sink?
• Normally sink thickness come in 0.7 mm
• However, our models: 1555 and 1579 are 1 mm in thickness.
Q 11: What models would you recommend to your
customers?
• In terms of practicality and space constraint problems, we would
recommend the latest design sink with work station concept –
which allows users to enjoy more space with flexibility for washing,
cutting, rinsing, soaking, thawing, etc.
• For convenience, we recommend you install a S/Steel disposal bin
next to the sink (a hole diameter of 262 mm is required).
Q 12: What is the overflow fitting function?
• As the name implies, it is to prevent the sink from been overflow.
Q 13: Do you have any offer packages that include a sink
with a tap?
• Yes, if you buy our stainless steel sink, there will be a discounted
price for the tap. On top of that, a Soap Dispenser will be given
Free of Charge (while stocks last).
Helpful information to use Stainless steel products correctly:
Always rinse the sink well after use and dry with a clean cloth or soft
sponge. Normal detergents can be used as long as they do not contain
chloride or its compounds.
If the steel has all opaque appearance over time, it can be cleaned with
stainless steel cleaning powder, which are available at any Rhoyxon
showrooms.
For persistent stains, use warm vinegar or scouring powder.
Absolutely avoid:
1. Using wire brushes or other implements that could scratch or
grate the surface;
2. Using acid or bleach;
3. Leaving rusty objects in the sink for a long time.
