Mitsubishi fridge

Hi Everyone,

Those staying in Sengkang, Punggol, Jurong Area and Boon Lay, pls dun consider Mitsubishi Fridges bcos they got a big problem at these areas. My model is MRV43R. According to the service centre, there is a few models also having this problem in these areas.

The problem is there is always water condensation in between the fridge doors. U will see huge pool of water when u open the door. Due to the water collected there, the rubber tube ard the door start to have black algae growing in between the rubber slots.. Imagine a new fridge less than a yr with algae growing.

Mitsubishi is not eager looking into this problem. My case have been dragging since last yr Oct till now.. whenever I call them, they ask me to wait for their call as their Japan Engineers haven't get back to them yet. They will ONLY CALL ME WHEN THEY FIND A SOLUTION. This is how they reply to me.

If u dun wan to go thru all these trouble pls tink twice when buying Mitsubishi fridge

According to the service centre, they explained is bcos of these areas having high humidity. They have on hand few cases and all these cases are from the areas I mention and my case is one of them. I am living in Sengkang. So many mths till now no solution at all.

i bought a washer from local neighbourhood store and later was told by some big mega electronic store that sometimes they sell display items.... hmnnnn didnt check when the stock arrived. so now i going to big store to buy and some of them does give discounts. so check with them

as for the mitsubishi model, i wasnt that familar with some model except 38J and another one which is the same design but slightly different functios and made in thailand.

the latest model of their fridge should have VITAMIN FACTORY. so if yr model is like F55, i think this comes with it. the "P" behind is older model. When the behind is "S", it should have this new function. Otherwise wait. now they are trying and still clearing the older batch. i cant rem the model no. but let me just quote eg

MR88P. and MR88S
P is older range, S is the latest one with vitamin factory and maybe 1 or 2 more new functios there. so they might and look exactly the same but the function isnt that so.
